Keeps getting better with a visit up to San Luis Obispo to see Megan - its so beautiful up there, I'm definitely going to have to go back! If there ever was such a thing as laughing too much (lets be honest, there's not), then I laughed too much with Megan.

Spring Break
What is better than seeing Sally in San Diego on a beautiful day? Playing a soccer game with her and seeing her score a goal. California burritos and Jacob were just the icing on the cake.

I could really use spring break right now
Work and school all day long. I'm so thankful for my friends that make me laugh. And they just get me.
I am so excited for my first legal St. Patrick's Day - I think I will have to make my ancestors proud!

I LOVE my classes this semester
Specifically, my 1st Amendment, Supreme Court, and Holocaust in Lit/Film classes. My Holocaust class is probably the most interesting class I have ever taken and I wish everyone would take a class on this topic. Here are some things I wanted to share from these classes. If they're not in English, then they at least have English subtitles and all of them are worth watching!
Die Welle (The Wave) was based on the true story of a California high school teacher who spontaneously did an experiment with her students.

Night and Fog (1955)
A short French documentary on the concentration camps. Though there are some very graphic parts.
Skokie/Neo-Nazi/Frank Collin
I couldn't find the documentary I watched in my 1st Amendment class but Frank Collin led the National Socialist Party of America to Skokie, IL in 1977. One of the interviews in the doc had Collin making extremely antisemitic remarks that I found shocking, but constitutionally protected by the 1st Amendment.
The Colbert Report - Justice John Paul Stevens
The Colbert Report - Justice John Paul Stevens
My previous recommendations are a little bit depressing, I know. Thats why you should definitely watch this clip of former Supreme Court justice with Stephen Colbert. And this guy is 91 years old!
